Hiking: Being in an area that offers hiking opportunities was fantastic. Exploring the surroundings was a breath of fresh air, quite literally!
Antiquated furnishing: The kitchen had a bit of a musty smell, probably due to its age. But hey, it added a touch of charm, like stepping into a time machine.

Easy key access and quick responses from the hosts made check-in and communication a breeze. The well-equipped kitchen, including a large fridge/freezer, was a great convenience.- The cottage's WiFi had a strong signal, making it easy for all four of us to stay connected.- With four pubs in the village, we particularly enjoyed The Star for its generous portions and proximity.
Some parts of the village were closed during our stay, requiring us to drive out for meals. However, this was not the fault of the accommodation.
